Originally from New Zealand, Sammy is a lifestyle and travel photographer now based in Paris, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her creative journey began with 18 years as a TV producer for leading advertising agencies in Australia and New Zealand. But after relocating to Paris, Sammy shifted her focus to photography- a transition sparked by the city’s light, texture, and atmosphere. What started as a passion quickly grew into a career built around storytelling through images. Sammy’s work is rooted in capturing the beauty of everyday life. She tells the stories of people and places with a sensitivity to fleeting moments, subtle interactions, and overlooked details. Drawn to both the intimacy of quiet corners and the rhythm of urban energy, her images explore how light and shadow shape the feel of a place. As a travel photographer, Sammy documents destinations with an editorial eye - balancing authenticity with elegance. She also collaborates with restaurants, chefs, and hospitality brands to create imagery that conveys the essence of a place, whether it’s the atmosphere of a boutique hotel, the character of a dining room, or the artistry behind a plated dish.
